At
The Pines, we provide a family atmosphere with every comfort of
home, without the burdens associated with home ownership. An
individual may move into The Pines when his or her care provider
has to go to the hospital, recover at home from surgery, go on a
trip, or simply rest from providing care.
Private
and semi-private rooms with private baths are available.
Each room has individually controlled heating and cooling
systems, telephone jacks for personal telephones, and cable
television.
Three
home-cooked meals are prepared daily and the kitchen is always
open for snacks and beverages. All housekeeping services are
provided, including personal laundry, weekly cleaning and linen
changes.
We
have health services that include medication monitoring and 24
hour staffing. Residents who require additional skilled
nursing visits may receive individualized home health care right
here at The Pines. Our staff also assists with the coordination
of routine and emergency medical care with outside facilities.
Respite care is available when someone needs short-term
residence in an assisted living facility.
Our
social and recreational activities foster mental, emotional and
physical well-being. Visiting hours are from 7:00 a.m. until
10:00 p.m., with a guest book provided for signing residents in
and out. We also have a local beautician for weekly hair
appointments and a podiatrist who provides home services for
residents.
Transportation
for doctors’ appointments, shopping, and pleasure trips is
always available. We have ample parking spaces for those
residents who have their own vehicles.
