We
would like to introduce our home to you. We are a facility
that provides care for the elderly. We promote autonomy and
choice making for the elderly for as long as possible. We help
maintain self-esteem and self-concept in a safe and structured
environment.
Our beautiful Victorian home has been comfortably and elegantly
renovated into a loving, caring and private setting for the
elderly. As the name "Pines" suggests, the house sits
on top of a hill shaded by stately pine trees. Our home is
conveniently located near downtown Portsmouth, churches,
parks, and a bustling senior center.
We want to let you know that there is an alternative to nursing
homes. We offer a more affordable solution for care
for the elderly if nursing home care is not required. We do home
and hospital, evaluations and assessments, and we participate in
the local health care network.
The Pines at Edgewood is licensed by the State of New
Hampshire. We are proud to add that we have never had any
State deficiencies on any inspections since the opening of our
home to Residential Care. If we can answer any questions,
